REINVENÇÕES AFETIVAS

Reinvenções Afetivas (Affective Reinventions) brings together artistic practices shaped by narratives of care, memory, and the processing of abandonment, offering audiences a sensitive experience centered on bonds, absences, and symbolic reconstruction. We developed the exhibition’s spatial concept, structuring the visitor journey and the presentation of the artworks around the emotional dimensions that run through the exhibition. We created exhibition design elements that organize the relationship between space, audience, and narrative, ensuring a fluid and aesthetically cohesive experience. For Regina Corrêa’s work Falecidas Falenas, we designed and built a tree made from clotheslines, conceived as a symbolic structure to hold the small garments on hangers that make up the artwork. The spatial installation amplified the work’s expressive power, evoking abandonment, care, and memory through a delicate yet striking scenographic presence. On the production side, we coordinated technical and logistical operations, supervised the installation, and liaised with the artists and institution, ensuring precise execution and seamless integration between the curatorial concept, spatial environment, and audience experience.
