The urban intervention carried out in São Paulo was developed collectively through the relationship between body, city, and public space. Madesu contributed to the project’s conception and development, helping transform the urban environment into a territory for experimentation, encounter, and performative action. The project was one of those selected to represent Brazil at the Prague Quadrennial 2015, one of the world’s leading international events dedicated to scenography and performance design. It reflects an approach that runs throughout Madesu’s work: treating space as an active part of the experience and creating new ways of connecting people, content, and place.
